One engineer owner since 1984. SD1 V8 conversion 1991 (only 7500 miles since then). Engine completely rebuilt by professional engineer with new bearings, pistons, mid-spec Kent cam (enhanced performance but retaining flexibility). Mallory competition ignition, rebuilt SUs, straight-through twin ss exhausts (lovely sound, but considerate enough for everyday). New radiator with Kenlow electric fan. New battery. Starts on the button, docile for town, a thrill when unleashed.
New 3.08 crown wheel/pinion (giving a relaxed 33mph/1000 rpm). Jaguar mechanic fitted, but I reckon in need of adjustment despite this. Recalibrated speedo.
Rear suspension fitted with hard bushes. Brakes SD1 discs/Vitesse calipers at front with split circuit operation, new pipe. Unworn tyres.
Hood and tonneau are vinyl and without blemish. Interior has new seat covers (as original) and carpets/linings from Rimmer. Original Triumph document wallet etc.
