This is a converted V8 conversion undertaken on a left hand drive TR7 brought back from the California. The project was undertaken by a Jaguar worker over 5 years and photos and all receipts of the project are available in a renovation file. The body was taken back to bare metal then re-sprayed, including the underside, in Triumph Calvary blue.
A donor TR7 was used to convert to a right hand drive. The restoration commenced in 1994 and was completed in 1999. The original owner reset the milometer to zero upon installation of the reconditioned V8 3.5L engine and keeping the car on a carpet in his garage. He did 1,350 miles before selling it to the present owner in 2003. The car has been kept garaged since and been used on fine weekends only. It now has some 5,000 miles on the milometer.
